Introduction
This section contains information on preparing specimen data for entry into the OSUC specimen database using a web application named Data Entry Assistant (DEA) 2.0. Although created for use in the previous version of DEA, much of the procedures and terminology remains the same. This guide includes instructions for formatting specimen records as well as references to facilitate taxonomic name recognition, locality georeferencing, etc.
